Since the age of 13, Sébastien Hogge has dedicated his life to the guitar. Between self-taught learning and jazz guitar studies at the Conservatory of Maastricht, he gradually developed a deeply personal approach to the instrument.
His musical universe blends groove, poetry and nature. Through what he calls “groove picking”, Sébastien transforms the acoustic guitar into a true emotional language, where the strings become rhythm, melody and breathing all at once. More than a technical performance, his music is above all about telling stories.
Influenced by folk, blues and jazz, he creates a warm and organic atmosphere carried by a percussive, sensitive and deeply human guitar style. Each piece becomes a journey between silence, groove and emotion.
On stage, Sébastien Hogge offers more than a concert: he creates an atmosphere. Through his positive energy, authenticity and natural connection with the audience, he invites listeners into an intimate and cinematic musical world where the guitar speaks before words.
Over the years, he has gradually established himself on the international scene with more than 100,000 monthly Spotify streams and over 100 solo concerts across Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. In 2019, he was invited to open for the world-renowned duo Rodrigo y Gabriela at the Forum de Liège.

Alongside his solo project, he has performed in numerous bands and musical projects including Les R’tardataires, Los Cubanistas, Dynah Lewis and The Soul Caravan, and Los Pinchos Trio, with whom he opened for Manu Chao in 2023.
Driven by a desire to share music in a human and accessible way, he also founded Passion Guitar School, a guitar school focused on individual and group learning, where technical progress meets musical expression and creativity.
Today, Sébastien Hogge follows one simple goal: letting the guitar speak, telling stories through music, and allowing groove to create a connection between people.
